I was so frustrated with Ikkaku today, like, why would he let his pride get in the way of winning when people are literally dying? Iba totally called him out on it, and it just made me realize how much he holds himself back just to stay under Kenpachi's shadow, which feels so misguided, especially after seeing Komamura just stomp in and finish what he couldn't.
