Finally getting the Visored backstory after all this time was a trip, but my jaw honestly dropped seeing Shinji as a captain with Aizen right behind him as his lieutenant. It really puts Aizen's long game into perspective for me, making his earlier betrayals feel even more calculated and chilling.
