Seriously, I was starting to lose hope in this arc, but this fight just pulled me right back in with its sheer desperation, it felt like the kind of life-or-death struggle we hadn't seen since some of Ichigo's earliest, grittiest encounters. My heart was pounding seeing them push past what I thought their limits were, wondering if either of them would even make it out.
