Seeing Ichigo have to relive his mom dying again was pretty brutal even if this whole arc is just filler

Hanza getting eaten by his own weapon felt like a weird way to end it after all that build up and hypnosis

I usually skip these filler arcs, but the way the music shifted when Ichigo saw his mother in that nightmare was actually haunting. It felt wrong seeing Masaki try to strangle him and it definitely made the things feel more intense than the usual side stories. I am still not a fan of Hanza but that psychological stuff worked for me

I hated seeing Masaki treat Ichigo like that in the nightmare but the music was actually really good during the scary parts

Hanza really thought he was invincible, but for the Bakkoto to turn on him like that because of his own arrogance? I gotta say, that felt like a twisted form of poetic justice, completely sealing his fate.

I felt absolutely gutted watching Ichigo relive Masaki's death; it’s like his deepest trauma keeps getting weaponized against him, and seeing him totally lose it in that mirror trap, just based on his own memories, honestly made my stomach drop because it really hammered home how much that past still controls him.

My jaw dropped when Ichigo's spiritual pressure absolutely detonated from those illusions; you can tell those old wounds from everything he's endured still run so incredibly deep. I couldn't help but feel for him, seeing how quickly he can still lose control when pushed, and it just makes me worried about what else could trigger him like that.

That mirror Bakkouto brutally dragging Ichigo back to his mom's death was just gut-wrenching to witness; I felt sick seeing him relive that guilt all over again. My heart just ached for him, knowing he's still carrying that immense burden even after all this time and so many battles.

Ugh, seeing Ichigo go through the pain of his mother's death again really got to me, I mean, you can tell it still haunts him so deeply after all these years. It actually makes all the filler episodes feel a bit more purposeful when they hit on something this fundamental to his whole being, like his past with Masaki.

I just couldn't believe how cruel Hanza was, making Ichigo relive his mom's death over and over. It seriously made my blood boil; I was just begging for Ichigo to totally lose it and tear apart that ridiculous weapon.

Ugh, I gotta say I was already kinda miffed about being stuck in another filler, but then Ichigo had to confront Masaki in that mirror. My heart just broke watching him lose his spiritual pressure like that, you could tell he was so utterly consumed by that impossible grief, and the music just twisted the knife in my chest even more. It was just so incredibly sad, seeing him so broken.

Ichigo's spiritual pressure just *erupted* around him, and it was agonizing to watch him completely lose himself in that memory of his mom, like his very soul was tearing apart. I honestly don't know how he'll ever find peace if those old wounds still hit him with such destructive force, it's gotta be exhausting to fight that constantly.

Ugh, seeing Ichigo's spiritual pressure just explode like that, it really makes me feel for him, like he's totally losing it watching his mom die all over again. I can only imagine how soul-crushing it must be to be trapped reliving your absolute worst nightmare like that.

Ichigo's complete despair in that fake world, seeing his mom alive, felt incredibly crushing to me. The way that modified Tetsu Zengetsu theme underscored the scene made me feel his pain so acutely, almost as if he was losing everything he held dear right then and there, all over again.

Hanza's move to manipulate Ichigo's memories with Masaki's image was just so low, it genuinely made my stomach churn watching it unfold. I mean, to use someone's deepest trauma against them like that? It's a completely unfair fight, and I just felt this surge of anger for Ichigo, seeing him forced to relive his mother's death.

Seriously, another assassin popping up just makes me wonder how long we'll be sidetracked from Aizen's grand scheme. But then that final attack unfolded with such intense, raw energy, I couldn't help but be completely absorbed by the spectacle of it all, despite my impatience.

Why did we even spend so much time dealing with Hanza and his mirror shenanigans? I just kept thinking about Aizen, like the show was deliberately trying to distract me from the real danger looming over everyone. It made me feel so impatient, like this whole arc was just a pointless drag on the main story we actually care about.

That Saiga mirror trap was really disorienting, and I actually found myself struggling to follow what was even real in the fight, which was kinda cool visually. But man, knowing it's just filler makes it impossible for me to invest emotionally, and it just pulled me right out of the intensity I expect from Bleach.

Okay, Masaki trying to choke Ichigo in that nightmare really messed me up, especially seeing her like that after all the times we've seen him grapple with her death. It's like, even in his subconscious, he's still haunted by her loss and the dark side of his powers, which just makes me wonder how much more of that deep-seated trauma he's got to deal with.

I honestly thought Hanza’s end was pretty fitting, watching him get devoured by his own sword after all that mind game stuff he pulled on Ichigo. It felt like karma, and honestly, I was relieved Ichigo wouldn't have to deal with that particular brand of manipulation anymore.

EPISODE CONTEXT

Sitting within the anime-original Kasumiōji arc, this episode follows directly from Ichigo being targeted by an assassin wielding a Bakkouto weapon, escalating the personal stakes against him. It continues to build toward the larger confrontation involving Amagai and the Gotei 13, layering in additional threats from the Kasumiōji clan. As a filler episode, it has no bearing on the manga's canon progression but serves as connective tissue within this extended original storyline.
