I was genuinely taken aback when Grimmjow stepped in to save Orihime from that brutal attack; it really cemented for me that his rivalry with Ichigo runs deeper than I initially thought. It makes sense, though, seeing him stand for some twisted honor about fighting fair, even if Orihime's constant healing feels a bit too forgiving after everything.
