Grimmjow just *materializing* out of nowhere to utterly obliterate Loly and Menoly was such an intense shock, I literally gasped. While I felt a dark satisfaction watching those two finally get a taste of their own medicine for their cruelty to Orihime, it leaves me questioning whether he was genuinely protecting her or simply clearing away annoyances to assert his own brutal authority.
