Pesche slipping on his own infinite slick was the funniest part of the whole episode and it really messed with the tension of the battle in a weird way

Uryu using that spiritual sword was a great move because it looks exactly like a lightsaber and it actually feels like he is finally showing some real strategy against Cirucci

I am losing my mind over Pesche being voiced by Takehito Koyasu and his interaction with Uryu is basically pure comedy and the pacing felt a bit dragged out during the slick move

Cirucci lost her mind because of that slippery slime Pesche keeps spitting everywhere and Ishida using a sword like a lightsaber just looks so cool

Cirucci looked genuinely enraged by that slippery floor, and I can't blame her; that unexpected tag-team move from Uryu and Pesche was such a bizarre tactic to witness. It was so out of left field for a Quincy to be working with such a goofy partner, yet it completely disrupted her fighting style, leaving her visibly fuming.

I love Pesche but this fight with Cirucci is taking forever and the story is barely moving while we watch them argue about his weird spit liquid

Ishida whipping out that blue energy blade is such a shift from his usual bow and arrow style and seeing Pesche mess with the terrain using that gross slime actually helped him land the hit

That Seele Schneider blade is exactly what I wanted to see from a Quincy and it looked great when he used it to shred those purple wings

if the episode didnt have pesche waffling around for ten minutes it would have been way better because uryus new gear is the only thing that matters

The way Pesche keeps tripping on his own slime is really annoying, and it makes the whole fight against Cirucci feel way less important than it should be.

cirucci has one of the coolest resurreccion designs so far and seeing her fly around like a giant bird was terrifying

the way uryu finally stopped running and used that vibrating soul cutter thing to shred those feathers really worked for me

the title is such a lie because pesche and uryu spent the whole time arguing instead of actually doing a combined attack

I have such mixed feelings about Pesche because half the time his jokes are actually funny but then he just keeps going until the scene feels like it's dragging. That infinite slick move was the definition of unnecessary and it made the pacing feel so slow. At least the Seele Schneider reveal was cool and Cirucci's bird form looks pretty menacing.

uryu getting annoyed about the terminology of his weapon while fighting for his life was hilarious because he just refuses to call it a sword

that infinite slick bit went on for way too long and it basically killed the tension when they were supposed to be fighting a serious enemy

Pesche is definitely an acquired taste and some might find him annoying but his interaction with Cirucci about her skirt was such a bizarre break from the usual soul reaper action

The irony of calling this a united attack of friendship is great, since Ishida looks like he would rather be anywhere else than fighting alongside a guy who attacks with spit.

It is hilarious that Pesche thinks he is helping by spraying slick everywhere but he just ends up embarrassing himself and making Ishida look like he is babysitting a toddler during a war

EPISODE CONTEXT

Coming directly after Rukia's emotionally charged confrontation, this episode pivots to Uryū's individual trial as the team remains split across Hueco Mundo — reinforcing the structure of rotating character spotlights that defines this stretch of the arc. It builds on the escalating difficulty of each encounter and sets the stage for new abilities and tactical reveals in the episodes ahead. At episode 156 of 366, this sits firmly in the middle of the Hueco Mundo infiltration, with the hardest battles still to come.
