I really appreciate how this episode slowed things down to let the characters breathe after all that chaos with Kariya. Seeing those flashbacks to Rukia and Renji before the series started meant a lot to me, especially since those moments actually come from the manga. It feels like the show is finally getting back on track for the Arrancar stuff
