Ahhh ... episode awal dimana udara di Karakura masih kelihatan pekat. Awalnya pikir ini anime horor, ternyata jauh lebih keren dari itu. Mulai kenal soal shinigami dsb dari sini. Wah, nostalgia hari Minggu siang untuk nonton Bleach. Kurang lebih penggambaran teriknya matahari Karakura dan visual yang terlalu terang mirip dengan masa dulu waktu awal-awal menonton Bleach. Apalagi opening songnya yang ikonik itu.

The opening of this shonen adaptation is just up to mark as with its great diction it enables the audiences to engage with its plot. Ichigo's ability and Rukia's nonchalance over the events of this episode introduced bonding overtime long journey. Music and sound effect is good.

one of the cleanest shonen pilot episodes out there, rukia's exposition feels natural and ichigo's whole vibe is set up perfectly from the jump, the hollow fight has real tension and you immediately get why this series became one of the big 3

The first episode already grabbed my attention, especially with how unique the storyline and the MC are. The way this episode already has that booming vibe was enough to make the whole anime intriguing.

Ichigo didn't request this. He didn't get ready for this. He moved forward because nobody else could. And that’s the foundation of everything that follows.Rewatching it now, knowing the scale this story eventually reaches, it’s wild to see how small and intimate it begins.

An interesting story theme about Shinigami. Unexpectedly, just the first episode already presents a battle with the enemy. The pace is fast, and what I like most is the soundtrack that perfectly accompanies the fight scenes. However, the animation quality here is unstable.

Good pilot episode. The episode showcases the kind as well brave nature of the hero.

Because it's first ep that's why it's not that interesting but it's good that why I will give 3/5

I thought the dad attacking Ichigo as soon as he walked in was hilarious and the way they just started brawling in the hallway had me laughing so hard

Isshin jumping his son the second he walks through the front door is hilarious, and the sisters acting like it is totally normal behavior makes the family dynamic so fun.

It is funny how you see Ichigo just become a master swordsman in five seconds but it looked cool enough that it honestly did not even matter

Ichigo breaking through that binding spell with pure anger just to save his sisters really showed what kind of guy he is

The dynamic between Ichigo and his dad is so funny because of those random flying kicks. It makes me feel like the family is real even with ghosts everywhere and seeing him take all of Rukia's power was a huge surprise

That scene with the baseball bat was so brave and stupid and it really established Ichigo as a character before he got the real sword. Watching him protect his sisters from that invisible monster felt very grounded and intense

Those weird rabbit sketches Rukia used to explain the soul stuff were such a funny contrast to the scary monster outside the house and it made me like her immediately

That final slash to the hollow mask was so satisfying and the music just made the whole scene feel so much bigger

I was staring at the screen when Ichigo finally transformed because his sword was so much bigger than the one Rukia was using
