I am still processing Nemu sacrificing herself to save Mayuri after all those flashbacks of her being created and it was so brutal seeing her get crushed like that

I didn't think anything could top the insane bloodbath between Unohana and Kenpachi earlier, but Nemu getting eaten alive by Pernida was such a brutal way for her character to go out

I never thought a fight between a creepy scientist and a giant hand could get this emotional, but seeing Nemu finally act on her own to save Mayuri really got to me. The way she used her soul to blow up Pernida and then got consumed was just devastating. It makes that ending where he saves her brain feel way more significant now
