The reveal with Patry was crazyy, now the contrast between the Licht in the flashbacks and everyone's memories, and the Licht which was "reincarnated" makes much more sense.

The entire elf backstory felt a little underwhelming given more than half of the story so far was geared towards emphasizing the rage between all the resurrected elves. I thought the story would expand more on Licht and his side of the story!

This episode focuses primarily on clearing up any ambiguous loose ends, which is great for setting up the next major arc and the actual confrontation. The way it's structured feels a little dragged out, but still entertaining while avoiding extensive dialogue expositions.

I can not believe Yuno is turning into an elf right now and his golden dawn teammates look so creepy with those glowing eyes and weird markings

Seeing Patry reveal himself as the fake Licht after what he did to Julius is actually insane and he used William the whole time for this revenge

The elf backstory makes you wonder if the first wizard king really killed them all or if someone else set it up and staged the whole massacre

Patry stealing Licht's name to lead the midnight sun is a crazy twist and it explains why the real Licht seemed like such a good guy in the memories

I still feel sick about Julius dying, but seeing the truth about Patry and William makes it even harder to process. The way the elves were treated was pure evil, and I can tell something is not right about the way the first wizard king supposedly turned on them when they were supposed to be friends

Yuno getting that elf mana glow at the end is making me so nervous for what happens next. The reveal that Patri was just a kid during the massacre makes his rage feel way more personal and scary

My brain is still processing that Patri isn't actually Licht and he was just using that name for revenge. Seeing the unborn baby die with Tetia during the attack was honestly the darkest thing in the show

It scares me how Yuno actually has an elf soul inside him and the way his ears changed has me so stressed for what happens to his friendship with Asta now

The elves just wanted to live in peace and have a family and it sucks. Licht using that forbidden spell at the last second to save everyone was such a desperate move and it really hurt to watch

It feels like someone set up the First Wizard King and the elves to kill each other on purpose. The light arrows raining down on the wedding was just pure nightmare fuel for everyone involved

I am actually losing it because Yuno just grew those pointy ears and it looks like an elf is taking over his body. My heart is breaking for the real Licht and Tetia after that massacre

Watching Patry wake up in Vangeance's body was a huge moment and it clarifies so much about how the Eye of the Midnight Sun started. William just letting him use his body is such a wild choice

I can't believe they kept the secret about the real Licht for this long, and the truth about the wedding day massacre is just haunting. Seeing how much Licht and the First Wizard King actually cared about each other makes the betrayal feel like there's some bigger evil playing both sides. Plus that ending with Yuno looking all elf-like is terrifying to think about

Wait so the guy we thought was Licht is actually named Patri and the real Licht was getting married to the Wizard Kings sister when everyone got slaughtered. That wedding scene was so brutal and sad

The animation during the flashback where the light magic rained down from the sky was haunting and beautiful. You could really feel the despair Licht felt when he realized his whole tribe was being murdered

The way Patri looks just like Licht because he is in Vangeance is so confusing but the twist works so well. Those humans at the wedding were absolute monsters and it makes sense why the elves are so angry
