The way Zora put spells on his body?? Such an interesting concept. I really like the way the story built his character so far, even though it wasn't a main focal point. His reflection at the end (hopefully) implies his changed worldview and possible recurrence as a character.

After the intense match with Asta, the way the story concluded/showed Yuno and Luck's rounds felt rushed and straight to the point, in a way. I guess the story wastes no time..

Amazing battle between Langris and Asta, that conclusion was top-notch! It's great that the show made it realistic in terms of Asta's abilities as a rookie compared to a literal vice-captain, when the captains are impossibly overpowered already.

Asta's resilience after taking all those brutal hits from Langris was already getting me pumped, but then he just *unleashed* that Black Meteor. I literally cheered when he finally connected, seeing Langris get rocked like that felt so good after all the trash talk.

The way the crystal shattered at the exact same time Asta hit him felt a bit lucky but seeing that jerk Langris finally get shut up made it worth it

That draw was so confusing, especially since there is no way those crystals broke at the exact same moment, but at least Langris had to stop talking for five seconds

Watching Asta smash that giant slab of iron into Langris was the most rewarding thing in the show because that kid is such a brat

Those spatial magic cubes getting deleted by the black meteor looked so clean and Asta definitely deserved that draw even if the crystal timing was questionable

Zora calling everyone out on their garbage while setting those traps is easily the best part of this tournament so far

rill just casually painting away that massive lightning attack from luck and klaus was terrifying, and it really puts into perspective how wide the gap is between captains and everyone else

It was so sweet when the team caught Asta before he hit the ground and his new demon form looks so much better than the earlier versions

I hate Langris so much and watching Asta just blast through his spatial magic with that black meteor move felt like justice

zora gives off such a big eyeshield 21 look with that mask and his attitude but his advice about teammates trusting each other actually felt meaningful after everything he went through

I think that simultaneous crystal break was such a weird way to end the fight but seeing Asta fly like that definitely made up for it

The art during that final clash was such a massive step up from the early episodes and it really made those giant spatial spells look terrifying for once

I honestly have mixed feelings about that draw because it felt like Asta should have taken the win after that speech, but seeing both crystals shatter at the exact same time was such a gut punch. It really shows that even with the demon form Asta is still pushing his absolute limits just to keep up with someone as unstable as Langris

it felt so good seeing luck and klaus pull off that massive lightning arrow combo and even if rill just brushed it off the coordination was actually impressive for once

Seeing him fully embrace the demon power to defend Finral was such a huge moment for his character, and even if the crystal breaking felt a bit like a cheap way to end the match, his speech about fighting together really hit me hard
