I am genuinely stunned by how fast the tone shifted because this used to feel like a fun adventure and now it is a massacre. Seeing Zenon act so casual while impaling Vangeance was hard to watch, and Yuno breaking down in the ruins at the end really shows how much they lost today. Yuno, standing there utterly still in the middle of all those ruins and tears, really caught me off guard. It's wild because I usually expect him to be more outwardly expressive, but seeing him so focused made me think he wasn't just processing, he was already laser-focused on the next move, probably to somehow make good on everything that happened.
