The animation in this episode feels really crisp for some reason, especially the close-ups during dialogue. It's been inconsistent for a while, with some faces changing halfway through scenes. It was great for emphasizing both Asta and Yuno's transformation. I really liked the background smoke.. adds dimension (?)

Yuno's awakening was such an aura farm. The rivalry between him and Asta is such a good focal point for the series in its entirety. Their whole race towards being the Wizard King feels so significant every time it's mentioned.

Yami really put Finral RIGHT back into work after he woke up from his near-death experience lol, he even said he was tired of moving around without portals a few episodes back

I still have goosebumps from hearing Haruka Mirai during that fight scene and seeing Asta and Yuno move together like that was everything I wanted from episode 100

Watching Yuno fight off that elf possession because he wants to be the Wizard King that bad was such a massive moment for his character and his growth

Licht absorbing that Spirit Storm and moving faster than the eye can see really sets the bar high for how much Asta and Yuno still need to improve

My eyes could barely keep up with all the movement on screen because the animation for the big fight scenes today looked so much better than the usual episodes

You hear Haruka Mirai start playing during that fight and you just know things are about to get serious between those two rivals and the elf leader

licht is still terrifyingly strong even after all that and it really makes you wonder how they are even supposed to win this war

hitting episode 100 with a fight like that is the right way to do it, and those action shots were actually so sharp

you can tell they saved the budget for the big scenes and it paid off because that fight with licht looked way smoother than anything before it

Everyone is going to be talking about how Yuno managed to keep his soul from being taken over because his connection to those elf memories is getting really weird and interesting

Licht is absolutely terrifying because he made the wizard king fight look like a warm up and Asta and Yuno are barely keeping up even with those power ups

I really thought Yuno was gone for good so seeing him snap out of that possession just to stand by Asta again made me yell at my screen

The way the fight was choreographed actually had me leaning forward because those two moving in sync while the music kicked in was the best thing I have seen in months

Watching Asta and Yuno finally fight together in those forms was everything I wanted since the start of the show and they look so good moving at those speeds

This was a massive milestone for episode one hundred because I was stunned when Licht started dominating both of them at the same time without even trying

Licht just grabbed Asta's sword out of his hands and used it better than he ever could which was actually terrifying to watch because the power gap is just huge now
