Visuals were stunning and the character progression is fantastic but BanG Dream continues to fall into it's trap of charging some episodes with TOO many live performances that feel like padding over being organically part of the story. Viola makes this story about a trillion times better.
EPISODE CONTEXT
Episode 6 centered on confronting a damaged situation honestly after mistakes were made, leaving the group in a fragile but forward-moving state. Episode 7 takes that fragile momentum and immediately tests it, placing the band's public identity and its members' private tensions under significantly greater pressure. Sitting at the season's midpoint, this episode appears to redirect the trajectory toward more consequential stakes for the second half.
