MAPPA handles the animation for these concluding episodes, and Hiroyuki Sawano's soundtrack does the heavy lifting in scenes where dialogue just isn't enough. The tone is bleak and relentless: this isn't a victory lap, it's a funeral march where every character has to reckon with what loyalty actually means when the person you love becomes the thing you swore to fight.
