Futami reunites with her old workmates while Hazama and Saitou meet up too. They all reminisce on how lucky they’ve been so far, and they look forward to the bright careers ahead of them. Futami has another life-changing event. It’s all sentimental in the best way.

This episode you see some real growth in Futami, between her not wanting the book signing and ending with her enjoying it. The pushing home that you need the people around you for support and growth, to returning home. Really a good SOL

S1 EP12: I like the character, the voice, the hair, and the style of the Main Sensei - The Smoking Cool Sensei. I love the reactions and animation really of Nashida-san face reactions LOL, the mangaka is really amusing. I am so proud of Futami-sensei, I wish I was there

This was a masterclass in the healing genre. It is a beautiful full circle conclusion that made the show one of the most heartwarming workplace comedies in recent years.

Watching Futami hold a signing event really makes me proud of her. The growth that she showed from the first EP compared to now is tremendous. It really makes me want to support her if she's a real mangaka in the real world.

UP: KARAOKE NIGHT LET'S GO. Everyone singing terribly, mangaka doing anime poses, editor secretly recording blackmail material. Pure chaotic joy. DOWN: Next morning hangover + new deadline. The cycle continues. 🎤

Emotional payoff episode. Watching Nana reflect on her work and growth hits surprisingly hard. The show finally shows how much she’s changed since the beginning.

EPISODE CONTEXT

Coming off Episode 11's focus on Nana expanding her creative horizons, Episode 12 earns its reflective, celebratory energy by cashing in on the team's accumulated growth throughout the season. It functions as an emotional cooldown before the series finale, giving the core trio space to acknowledge their shared journey. Episode 13 will then close things out by digging into Nana's personal background and cementing the bonds this episode celebrates.
