My first mecha series and i loved every moment of it

Spearhead is running out of supplies, out of machines, and almost out of hope. Leaving Fido behind was heartbreaking. Even when Shin tries to face the Legion alone, his friends refuse to let him go alone. That farewell letter to Lena? Painful but beautiful. The music adds depth.

I applaud their final stand here. I liked how they didn't give up even though they were surrounded. The music made me cry in this part. This was such an emotional roller coaster for me, as I was fearing for the group's safety. I hope there is a better future that awaits them.

The way this episode ends causes uncertainty, a void is felt, since it is unexpected that the entire squad survived considering the number of members who died before.

Absolute cinema. The 86's peace is so abruptly cut, and the ensuing chaos is shocking and heartbreaking. When Lena finally steps into where the 86 once lived their life, it's hard to not get watery-eyed at the entire next ten minutes that ensues. Can't wait to watch the sequel!

An emotionally devastating finale to the first cour. With pride in themselves and a vow to their fallen comrades, they will not stop until the end. Even if they run out of weapons and ammunition, even if Fido who has been with them for so long is wrecked and lost.
